The insistence on playing Stansfield up front on his own is genuinely baffling to me. He’s ineffectual and it stunts the attacks.

I've got my doubts that they'll beat Rotherham

One/only good thing about relegation is that most of these players will never wear a Blues shirt again. You play a game of football on the back of the clubs biggest announcement EVER and you still can't motivate yourself - fcuk off the lot of them 😡😡😡

These set of nucts just havent got the fight of previous lesser squads. Why will no one take a long range shot, trying to pass it for a perfect goal.
Think we gone i cant see us getting anything other than the rotherham game and thats debatable all other teams down bottom picking up points between defeats our form in last 10/12 is woeful.
Cant wait to see the back of this lost and thats everyone of them.
How thst 8mil for james looks like a steal now,, should of took it and brought a striker and cb. I no hindsight but wouldnt be in this position now if we did.
No win sat and we are gone imo, thought about the same tonight from a team that was ther for the taking and the bottlers bottled it. Said on another thread these players cant step up when under pressure and thet didnt, knowome was brave or tpok the game by the scruff of the neck. Brief 10 min spell and thst was it all night.

Biggest problem - no striker. Stansfield looks good when he is on the ball and looks to make things happen but no one on his wave length. He needs to play behind a striker. Taking Miyoshi off was criminal, seriously?? He was our biggest threat. Some players clearly tired after 60 and we look done in. We’ve only got an hour in us. It’s completely inevitable that if we can’t score then we will be sucker punched week in week out because clean sheets look so unlikely because of our average central defenders. There are more problems but I think we could have been a few points better off with someone who can hold the ball up, bring players in and finish.

Got a cold and watched it on a stream. That's the only good thing I can say about tonight. We can't buy a goal. Fantastic ball by Pritchard to Hogan near the end. Why take off Miyoshi for Anderson? Maybe Donovan may add a bit of a spark off the bench. Just inching ever closer to relegation. Coventry will eat this shower of shite for breakfast.

Well if ever a performance had relegation written all over it, have seen us relegated many times before of course but never with such a whimper.
Not laying this at Rowett's door but I do wonder what he's thinking sending this team out again and again, I know he can't sprinkle fairy dust but I did think he'd come up with something a bit different and tbh it's hard to distinguish betwen that and some of the Venus games.
I've been saying since before Rowett came back that we need to try someone else up front to offer a presence, even if they're not a forward to give the other forwards someone to play off. I've been saying we need Hall in the squad at least and ideally the team because he's our only genuine pace threat and we're just basically doing what we were doing and failing with under Venus, what's the point?
We're going down unless every remaining game has significant improvement on that, the lack of urgency is mystifying, are they looking forward to league one? One player who won't be saddled with it is the one showing the most desperation to fght against it in Stansfield.
I don't get the lack of urgency from the players
I don' get Rowett sending them out like this game after game, it's not working or even looking like it will most of the time
We've got about 60 hours before we play the biggest game of the season, it's not enough anymore to avoid defeat we have to win that or we are as good as down but honestly after watching that I'm highly doubtful these players under this manager with these tactics will win again this season.
Maybe choc is right, maybe they just aren't very good but even if that's true the tactics and personnel selected imo isn't even giving them much chance anyway, losing 3 out of 4 isn't the kind of impact most were looking for from Rowett's return.

The failure to bring in a striker whilst adding three midfielders has killed us for goals. Burke and Tyler Roberts have scored nil between them, that is when they have not been unfit. Stansfield gives his all but he is not a lead the line striker. I want to see Hall in the side. He has pace and is direct. Coventry will wipe the floor with us, FA Cup semi-final or not. A low after a big high yesterday.

It’s between us and Huddersfield now, they have tough games. We beat them and Rotherham and maybe we’ll survive. Can’t see how it can happen any other way. Let me just check our away record…
Shit, we’re in trouble.

Late in the 2nd half 1-0 down, we were high up in their half on the right and Paik was there with a couple of other blues and he gave up 2 or 3 chances to swing the ball in the box and they end up taking the ball off him and charging down our end, fcuking ridiculous.
So many games this season under different managers other teams have beaten us without having to really work hard for it, just defend deep and in numbers and wait for us to make a mistake, rinse and repeat.

Most likely goalsorers in open play are the wide players Grant and Bowler with Goutas and Ng being the dangermen at set pieces, nd to a lesser extent McGuiness.

I’ve aired my views on Rowett but choosing the same 11 as Leicester proves a point. I’m sure he’s got a eye smile on his face tonight

Thrown water bottle and silent treatment in the dressing room I think!
I try to remain optimistic but at a time when we need to improve our form it is currently the worst in the division. We need to see improvement from all players or it's going to go to the wire.
I remember when blues had a fantastic home record and teams feared coming to St Andrews.
let's hope Coventry either field their under 11's or turn up to play in slippers as I cant see that one going well if keep on with this level of form.
Have to beat Huddersfield and Rotherham and even that may not be enough if Wednesday keep getting better results than us.

Trying not to think about what happens if we don't or even worse we lose, more pressure on the players for this game imo than any other so far this season, first time we go into a game already in the bottom three and we're expected to win too, pressure affects different players differently, nothing should be taken for granted, especially from a side that in the last 9 games has won once and lost 7 times.
make that won one of the last 10 losing 8 of them, and we're hoping they can win at least 2 of the next 4?

Another game with a basic lack of craft. Our passing is so poor yet we still try to pass out from the back and Mr Rooney is nowhere near the club🙄 Our decisions regarding the final third of the pitch is mind boggling, particularly Bacuna, he refuses to play a simple pass. It has to be a fancy flick or worldy pass and if that's not on he just blasts the ball into who ever is in front of him. It's not jus him though, it's across the squad. The answer. I don't have one, not with this lot. I'm not holding up the white flag yet but its behind my back.
