Yes Bubba, we are playing without a striker. A lot of talented attacking midfielders who would probably do quite well at other clubs, but they have no target man and we have way too many of them. Yes, we do desperately need some physical presence up front. Someone to be a menace and someone for the pretty players to target. That could well have been Burke, in the absence of Juke, but he’s quite rightly been frozen out. However, judging Rowett’s post-match tone and expression, honestly nothing would surprise me now. He was really, I mean really pretty angry with this lot after the game and it took him a while to calm down before giving his post-match. “Look” (as he likes to start every sentence) “we need to do things another way now, MY way, else we are fooked”. I can imagine him saying to the powers that be. I can well imagine that one or two of those last night might have already played their last games for the club.

Think Rowett would of used him imo.
