Old YouTube David is bang on the money tho. Let’s just de escalate guys and make peace Get that man a Bronx hat Well he didn't say it like that, did he. He was referring to people with an interest in keeping the war going for their own game. The people who are lining Zalenski's pockets. The guy who has shut down any political or media opponents. The people who blew up the gas pipelines, to take away that bargaining chip to Europe. But yes, he is on the money there. His main point was - He thinks the Russians staged the whole thing. A few words about peace in a 13 minute video, isn't something you should be totally focused upon.

Superb….classic Flag up against the shiny wallpaper. So in summary - he concludes we need to de escalate the situation and make peace. No shit. That's hardly a summary. In conclusion he thinks the whole thing was a work, to expose traitors & double agents Or maybe the Wagner forces haven't been paid, not happy with the equipment they have or don't like the way Russian Forces have been treated (Russian Army commanders are killing wounded soldiers rather then trying to help them.

I would think if they hadn't been paid, so revolted, they wouldn't likely, or sanely, go back to their camps on assurances they will be paid. If this was a genuine rebellion, heads will roll. They definitely wouldn't trust people who would rather kill their own wounded troops, than have the trouble of providing medical aid. If that were true, and didn't sound like a BBC report.

I don't know. I'd not heard of them until this afternoon (when I woke up). From what I can tell, it's a private army, headquartered in Russia, which I find mind blowing. I'm currently under the impression they are going for a coup. (!) Chechen mercenaries. Guns for hire, heavy presence in Africa. !

I haven’t watched all of the video posted above but I can say this blaming the Russians for misinformation on the former French colonies is complete bs.
The Francophile countries in Africa, still have to pay all of their income to the French and the French then give them back an allowance.
That is the main reason for anti French sentiments on the continent.
Still trying to get to grips with the Wagner situation in Ukraine. Some commentators are suggesting it allows Wagner to attack Kiev, from Belarus.

The BBC are suggesting that it shows there are cracks in Putin's power, which makes me pretty confident there are no cracks in his power.
My view is, if the rebellion was a shoot, then they'd be mad to turn back, and the Russians would have missiled the shit out of them, the minute they left Russia.
So I reckon it was a work, to expose traitors and double agents, and / or maneuver troops without hindrance.

Well he doesn't look happy. It's sounding more like a half arsed rebellion, than a work.

It’s been an interesting few days tbh but Putin, hangs on simply because there’s no way any loyalist to the Russian government could sell out and be accepted by the people.
Let’s see if this episode inspires any others thinking of challenging the status quo.

Interesting in that this was first reported by the Moscow Times, apparently. It’s a western owned newspaper.
One to watch I suppose.
Note the Russians, have started to target hotels where they suspect foreign agencies are based.

I can't work out what happened, but I think Putin is pretty pissed off, so I don't think it was a work.
For some reason, if appearances are correct, there was a massive change of heart on the way to Moscow.
Considering the implications for the ringleaders, it's very strange.

Reading that the russian helicopters are really whackingthe Ukrainians. They fire off their missiles from 200 miles away and their very advanced radar picks up the Ukrainian vehicles and blasts them. The Ukrainians havent got anything that can hit back at that range.

Chechen mercenaries. Guns for hire, heavy presence in Africa. ! Military coup in Niger, is something to definitely keep an eye on. I see Russia, has just wiped out £23bn debts African countries owes it. Its timing is certainly due to trying to keep its own interests in Africa, up and running. That’s South America, Asia and Africa in its corner. Everything seems to be going well with the new petro currency. These are desperate times.

From the the little I could see, the Russians seemed to be trying to cut a deal with the Africans. Going up against someone who (for now) can create the world's reserve currency out of nothing, is a bit of an ask. Also, if I heard right, Putin couldn't go to Africa, because they'd be obliged to arrest him !?!
I'm also hearing Ukraine has made a drone attack on Moscow. An old (cruel) tactic for getting your people on board. Churchill kept making bombing raids against civilians in Germany. Eventually, moustache man lost patience, and we all know what happened then.

Nice to see this up again. Good find. I've watched the first half hour, and I'll definitely watch the rest. Holy shit. I fear our rulers will use the same people to destroy us, and they'll do it gladly, and you can't blame 'em to a degree. So, Wilson got conned again did he. No shock. I have a fair few old books on the subject of dodgy activities in the first half of the last century. I don't recall coming across the Committee on Public Information. So, did you look up Edward Bernays & Walter Lippmann ? Have you looked up William L Laurence from the headline 'U.S. atom bomb site belies Tokyo tales' bullshit about radiation sickness not existing ? "First you start to notice...."

It’s a great documentary I think I’ve watched it quite a few times tbh. The coverage of the Iraq, invasion sickens me every time I watch it.

It was really hard to watch. 90% of the casualties were civilians. This is what I mean about the fake democracy. Who the merry fcuk would have voted for that. Everyone should know about the complete bullshit which got us into that war. Hardly anyone cares. Especially the purportraitors. Monsters. Voting sure as hell won't rid us of their ilk.

Indeed.
Just watched an Indian news broadcasters covering the situation in Niger. I didn’t realise that the president of Niger, was absent from the delegation being held in St Petersburg by Putin, for African nations.
The current leader of the Niger coup is said to be of the Russian Christian orthodox religion. I found that bit interesting as was the timing of the coup.
I wonder what was promised by Putin, to the military personnel that led the coup. I’m pretty sure he was promised something.

I know he’s not everyone’s favourite journalist but in times like now we definitely need people like John Pilger.

I wonder what was promised by Putin, to the military personnel that led the coup. I’m pretty sure he was promised something. From what I can gather, the Americans have an economic and military interest in that part of the world (and every other part, let's face it), the French have an economic interest, and have historically had military one, but I'm not sure how that would fly in France these days, the Russians seem to be trying to mimic the Americans and the Chinese have a strong economic interest. I can't remember which country (or countries) around there, but I've seen something about American troops & Russian mercenaries within the same nation. Uranium & gold being big there, if I remember correctly. It seems to me that the Africans are fed up with everyone, especially the West. The Americans don't miss a chance to bully their way into getting what they want. The Russians don't play ball with that idea. The Chinese method, as I understand it, it they pay for vital infrastructure, for free, as part of a loan deal. But the contractual conditions of the loan are, if there's any default, the ports, oil refineries, buildings, mines, whatever it is, becomes the sole property of the Chinese government. Wait and see. I think, if the Africans can unite and manage to not kill each other, they may well be able to improve their lot by playing one side off against the other.
