So for QPR away he has
Roberts Beilik Chang Dembele Pritchard Burke Anderson Juke
All either injured or just returning,
Dozzell
Not available, and
Etheridge Paik James Bacuna Stansfield
Away on international duty and not returning until Wednesday/ Thursday before the game so no time to work with them.
I wouldn’t be surprised if only one or two maximum start out of that lot. Quite an achievement if he pulls off a result

He has to pack the defence for this one plus two defensive midfielders. I’m looking at Drameh Sanderson Buchanan Laird Beilik. Sunjic That leaves 4 players to attack. As awkward as he has been I would give a shirt to Dembele, he does know where the back of the net is. Stansfield obviously, and how about Anderson for the other flank, that leaves a final place, that would either be Paik or Myoshi.

I think he willI go 352 which will probably be his default formation (away) as he needs to make these somewhat small and weak players stronger as a sum of the parts. We do have wing backs and for me this is what we should change our shape towards. So I would go
Ruddy Aiwu Sanderson Buchanan Laird Sunjic Bielik James Drameh Dembele or Myoshi Stansfield
James played 23 minutes last night and he will probably be a sub again next match He will also be the kind of player who can slot into the midfield role given his versatility

I think we’ll stick to 4231. James and Stansfield will be back fairly early and both probably have play unlike the others who usually return quite late. James will very likely move central with the lack of options unless Gardner has an Easter resurrection. If you have miyoshi and stansfield nailed on the front four you’ve got two spots left. Dembele and Anderson will definitely be favourites for that left side spot. It only leaves you with Roberts or Hall (if ready) centrally. Although I also wouldn’t be surprised to see Hogan and Stansfield moved back or to the left.

Ben Beresford recalled from Gloucester.
Maybe he’s a consideration?
Also may highlight Juke not gonna be fit for few games.

Too many variables so not a Scooby Doo tbf. Apparently Bacuna only in Turkey this time as opposed to halfway round the world but suspect Rowett will either exclusively or very nearly exclusively start wth players he'll have been able to work with and get his message across for ten days, Stansfield one just might get the nod as he should be back with a few days to spare and obvious claims.
So maybe a starting eleven from these
--------------J.STANSFIELD-----JUKE--------HOGAN
S.DEMBELE-------------------T.ROBERTS------------MIYOSHI ------K.ANDERSON---------PRITCHARD--------------G.HALL
--------------------------SUNJIC C.DRAMEH L.BUCHANAN--K.BIELIK--E.AIWU--D.SANDERSON--E.LAIRD
-----------------------------J.RUDDY
with these possibly jostling for a bench spot.
BACUNA, ETHERIDGE, SEUNG-HO, JJ, LONGELO, GG
Can certainly see the case for Bielik possibly being parachuted straight back into central midfield and in a Rowett side that's fine because for various reasons of international duty, lack of games and injury/unavailability Sunjic is pretty much last man standing. That would leave only 5 available defenders and all of a sudden more than half the team seems to be picking itself.
Forward of that is where the options are and I wouldn't like to guess what he'll do, can make a case for most of them tbf. As said I'd like Hall in there for that genuine pace threat and you're probably likely to start Stansfield somewhere in that front four which only leaves a couple of spots. If you're of a mind Juke has to start up front, BTW curious we've still heard absolutely nothing at all about his injury, never known it to just be completely radio silence like this, and assuming he's fit again, you probably still want Stansfield buzzing around him so however it goes there's going to be a few disappointed players in those forward areas.

Sorry Bubba but there is a glaring missing name: Werder's finist, or was that Werther's finist?

As said it's more than a little weird they've just said nothing at all.
Re Beresford, tbh I can't see any other reason for recalling him other than to either be under consideration for the first team or for Rowett to at least have a look at him. This time of year they're getting players out, not recalling them. One of only 3 development (U-21) squad players definitely contracted beyond this season and is regarded well. Think I've only seen him once but apparently he's a finisher, interesting.

Is Beresford a striker? If yes, does that mean Dixon hasn't (still) got a chance or are we simply keeping all options open?

10 in 24 for Beresford which is a decent return for a first loan, particularly for a pretty rubbish team

OK, well seems a bit pointless aswell as a kick in the wotsits for Gloucester. Leaves a struggling side for another struggling side in the same division for what, about 5 weeks? Is it about the player or is someone getting their back scratched?

Only one spot above Gloucester although they have some games in hand so I guess more game time but it’s a bit weird. Would have made a lot more sense if he moved up higher

I would say Paik, Miyoshi, Bacuna assuming all away on duty will find it harder to come into starting contention Friday.
Will probably want focus on those who have trained more this week.
With Monday following close it's an easy decision to say they'll have more involvement in the second match.

Not sure, but even if so, he did not even make the subs bench on Thursday. Maybe he’ll be back early if not going to figure again on Tuesday.
