He's been getting some stick from fans and media, but yesterday, I thought he was awesome, apart from the one on ones. he worried the feck out of the Swedish centre backs, he led the line while Kane played a little deeper, the Swedes never came to terms with it.
I reckon it will work against the Croats (sp).
Not sure that the Frogs and Sprouts would be troubled by it.

MOTM easily, wish Lingard would have run at them a bit more too. Sterling terrified them but I think his finishing has become a mental block thing now, hesitation and doubt, need one in off his arris.
Said yesterday my one gripe was passing up decent crossing opportnities again and again but another thing they could do better is at times they look to turn the ball over to a team-mate when there's 15-20 yards empty space in front of them. Moving with the ball drags opponents towards you and opens up space for others as Sterling regularly does. Those two things would make us 50% better and more effective imo.

He was very good in the 2nd half against Sweden. His movement has been good all tournament, its when he gets the ball that he has been disappointing. Hopefully that 2nd half performance can give him confidence and help him to get a goal or two.
