For all those who consider me a right wing facist. It’s not true, just someone who cares about his country, and votes accordingly. I have in my lifetime voted for Labour in 2 General Elections. That was in the days when it was the genuine Labour Party, way before it was hi jacked by the loony left, better known as Momentum. Can some genuine Labour MP retrieve it, and place it back in the hands of genuine socialists, not to be confused with the bunch of Marxists/ Corbynistas who have destroyed it. Jess Phillips, a true brummie, who comes across as a caring person, even if I don’t agree with all she says, would be a great start in mending her broken political party. How about you?

It's a shame Caroline Flint lost her seat.

I too have voted Labour in two general elections. Bit torn on this one, on one hand Jess Phillips should finish the blighters off. Try imagining her on the world stage. But on the other hand, and overall I hope they get their act together. Competition is good for the consumer. Us. It would be so nice to be spoiled for choice, and it would be pretty good whoever won. As opposed to nothing much or disaster.

You see, this is why I voted for you as WUM of the Year. Deliberately choosing the candidate you knew I would choose was provocative in the extreme.

i think the latest GE and brexit has shown the political dynamics have changed.
Rather than it being workers (labour) vs business (Tories) its shifted more geographically where cities tend to vote in the same manner and rural areas and towns vote in a similar fashion. Likewise
If we are going to have a genuine opposition to 'them lot' then its going to need a shift in thinking around how labour works with the other smaller parties like the Lib Dems, Greens and the scots/welsh parties.
Will never happen though whilst momentum have such a hold over labour

I have this niggling thought that they fancy a clean crack at their crazy manifesto without the ‘Brexit’ issue. On every occasion, senior shadow members blame the ‘Brexit election’, along with the media.

If it was just Brexit, they wouldn't have had their arses handed to them in Scotland. Id say it was a combination of Brexit, open borders, insane economic policies, pandering to minorities and any politically correct movement and the Hamas / IRA loving. Something to p1ss off pretty much any of their traditional supporters.
