First two lines:
Australia turned down the UK’s appeal for freedom of movement between the two countries
Hopes of a flurry of post-Brexit trade deals were dashed this week after the Australian government rejected a UK offer that included visa-free work and travel between the two countries
Are you fcuking surprised ? The whole point of their points based system, is to keep out the kind of trash we give houses to.
It'll be fine, don't panic.

I had to have a visa to go to Oz, plus, there is no annual pension increase for British pensioners out there.

Australia - the easiest place in the world with which to do a deal! 😂 😆 😝 Did you actually read the article, or are you still bent on fighting for a lost cause. 'Trade minister Simon Birmingham said full free movement would not be accepted because it could cause an exodus of highly trained workers to the UK and an influx of unskilled British workers to Sydney and Melbourne'. Assuming the article is correct, they were never going for it. The UK government has a cheek asking, all things considered. The trade deal wasn't rejected because we have bad credit rating, it's because they don't want our ISIS mob. Honestly, don't worry, it'll be fine.

Almost all trade deals involve an element of free movement between the two countries in question. What is incredibly ironic is that we’re just about to tear up an agreement because people didn’t want free movement (except for themselves, of course!). And then the first deal we try to set up for post-Brexit sees us asking for exactly that. I’m not worrying, because I’m not responsible for the shitstorm that’s just over the horizon.

I imagine the amount of free movement will remain pretty much the same. Ironic isn't the word. To the point I have difficulty believing it. A dick headed, never going to happen, waste of time idea.

Well , if they won't take our unskilled labour ( who don't want to work anyway ) , they can't have any more Marmite ..
