Tombstone a good shout.
Original Star Wars, but I can't face them now, after what's been done. Avengers Infinity War, same thing 'cos of what will be done Young Guns (see below. about time I changed it actually) Original Four Feathers Niven Around the world in 80 days.
Those were the first ones I thought of, excluding comedies, on the basis if they were included, it'd take me years to decide on top 5.

1. It's A Wonderful Life (please Hollywood never remake this eugh) 2. Aliens (just a great sci-fi shoot em up)
3. Dances With Wolves ( just like the story)
4. Starman (the best and worst of humanity from an alien perspective, also always had a thing for Karen Allen) 5. The Haunted (probably the scariest based on true story supernatural film I've ever seen even though fairly low budget)

When the main character was listening to the older soldiers "He turned round to run, and got run through with a lance" "Best thing that could have happened for him" Amazingly, I've never seen those three films. I'll blame bad parenting.

Memento - A film recommended to me by a friend about 5 years ago. I never got down to watching in. I believe it's still on my computer hard disc. I may actually get down to watching it when the nipper goes to sleep.
Another great film is Bad Grandpa starring Johnny Knoxville of Jackass. The kid is just awesome. So funny.

My Top 5
The Italian Job - Just a very watchable classic The Martian - Very much a great film with so few otrher actors The Dark Knight - Mainly because the role played by Heath Ledger is still the best portrayal of a character ever. No wonder he killed himself Captain Marvel - My favourite avengers film Rise Of Sky Walker - I had great fears that Disney would ruin it but it's getting better
Hard to have it genre free but I loved The Hangover!
