I haven’t seen any updates of wickets falling at Edgbaston this morning - is it snowing there? 😆

I haven’t seen any updates of wickets falling at Edgbaston this morning - is it snowing there? 😆 It's been a decent batting track. Cloudy a bit now, but it's been very sunny. A bit warmer and it would have been perfect cricket weather. A fair few play and misses, plus the batsmen making use of all edges of their bat's.

As a bit of a sideline, so far in this first round of matches there have been two double centuries and FIFTEEN centuries (several of them BIG centuries).
So three questions for you:
1. What are the chances of someone getting 1000 First Cass runs by the end of May this season?
2. How many different batsmen have achieved this feat in the history of cricket in the UK?
3. Only TWO players have achieved this feat since WWII - name them, and the only county each of them played for in their career. 😉

I doubt it. Extremely difficult, as shown by the limited number to complete the feat.
I confess to using Google and I'm not surprised at the two.

Why not? Mountains, molehills!
I think 8 in total.
Hick and Turner since ww2.
With less championship cricket played now and central contracts picking up the cream, I doubt it will happen again.
Bowlers taking 150+ wickets? Never again!

Looked a bit iffy LBW decision. High, and maybe even just outside the line

Looks like a run chase gonna happen at the home of Cricket. Would you open with Sibley ?

You are very much like haemorrhoids. Bloody irritating! I know it’s difficult for supporters of so-called “big clubs” 😂 to recognise that it takes two teams to make a match. Now go and get yourself a nice plump cushion! 🤣

Warwickshire didn't have a 3rd man all through that Derbyshire innings. Must have conceded around 40 runs off edges down there. Must be the modern way.
