Have you seen the ropey goal kick video doing the rounds since the game finished  Clearly the problem with this situation is it will actually get worse. The investment from the big leagues funnelled into the respective womens top flight football will lead to a more disciplined mindset of the big nations and ultimately that fine tuning (for want if a better phrase) will see nations with no investment being smashed by these scores nearly all the time. I assume the next world cup when they invited some extra ropey nations we could see 30 in a match. The League Tables read like the old Central Warwickshire little league tables |

Yep it’s a massively distorted sport at the moment but is it any worse than the mens team smashing a side like San Marino 10-0?
Massive difference in the haves and have nots in both the men and womens game-but hate the elitism and snobbery about either teams like San Marino in the mens or teams like Latvia in the womens. That’s the whole point of international football- it’s a chance for all nations to compete
The game will only improve in those countries if they are exposed to playing against quality outfits-over time you see improvement (Ie Iceland, Senegal, Cameroon etc) as more and more players play the sport, more facilities are built and coaching gets better etc

I think there is a big difference in our 10 and the womens 20.
We are talking 63 shots
versus 22 shots against 10 men.
As bad as San Marino are that many shots is barmy.
In the mens game there are about 3 sides out of their depth and another 3 that are learning to cope and at least make life difficult. The majority of the other teams at international level can make life very difficult even for England. The countries they have put in the qualifiers for women there are some barmy looking tables.
Double figures in mens European football at international level is not that easy. If you take San Marino results out of all modern qualifiers the mullerings are generally in the 5 or 6 bracket. Yes right now we are wanting change to give these teams a chance to qualify and learn but in the womens game they most definitely need pre qualifying because whilst trying to grow their game they are not doing themselves any favours with matches where the gulf is off the chart.

In defence of romes I'm fairly sure he's parodying a mysoginistic viewpoint, a dying art of comedy imo and actually the intent of the creator of the 'Alf Garnett' character though admittedly that was a double edged sword as it was misunderstood by many and ultimately backfired as he was largely cherished by Brits rather than evoking the sense of scorn and ridicule that was Speight's intent, ahh best laid plans.
In defence of myself, how many of those women's husbands didn't have their dinner on the table at 6 o'clock tonight? That's all I'm saying.

I suggest you check the ASIAN qualifying campaign. Australia for instance!!!
Israel ain't in Europe but hey they still are part of our qualifying.
Who knows maybe Berwick should join League Two or Swansea and Cardiff join the welsh Premier?
The point is all them teams play in either the Asian or Oceana or whatever ropey qualifiers where plenty of these countries barely have a professional league of note. This means the calibre is of a disorganised international set up.
As a footnote European sides occupy 10 of the bottom 130 places in the FIFA rankings.
That is a significant amount of dog shit teams.

To be honest the clips I see the keeping is abysmal and you get plenty of goals going straight trough them and the have poppadom wrists like Camp! If blues want to get success in WSL on the cheap then find some geezers that identify as a woman and push the boundaries.
