What you get when a team has a real go knowing a win will improve their survival chances big time. Ours on the other hand bittled it and didnt show up with any intent.

Looking at the fixtures I think Sheffield Wed will survive. Blackburn, Blues and Plymouth will join Huddersfield and Rotherham. Lose versus Huddersfield and we are down. We are relying on others now after yesterday's no show.

I’m a very firm believer that the table doesn’t lie.
We’re in the drop zone after 44 games played. That’s nobodies fault except our own. Yet again we are now in a position of needing huge wins in the final games and having to rely on others losing. Shambles.

Also fair play to Danny Rohl at Wednesday. 37% win percentage and has given that club a fighting chance of avoiding relegation when they looked like absolute certainties at the beginning of the season. He’s done a good job.

Bubba was correct when he said that we would have been quite happy if we had been handed 4 points for the last 2 games. Problem is all teams around us have found form where as we are stuttering along like an old Mini Metro. I have zero confidence in us pulling this one off.

Have said before I actually do think sometimes the table lies. Something as seemingly innocuous as WHEN you actually play different teams matters, yes we ll play the same teams but meeting a midtable side in their best run of the season whilst a team next to you catches them when they're on their arses means you're effectively not playing the same side. Rub of the green, refereeing errors or a keeper just having one of them days where nothing gets past them all go to sometimes skew the real picture imo.
However all that said I agree, we or rather these players completely deserve to be where they are, not sre they can mmake a backbone between them. Even Bielik yesterday oh pease Johnny please please do us a favour, just fcuk right off you feckin worm, just the mentality running right through this squad is utterly awful, weak minded and weak spirited. With 2 games to go far far inferior team in term of ability in Wednesday have just gone above us pushng us into the bottom 3 entirely based on character. Is there anything worse than showcasing your lack of guts and desire week after week? For me I just think it goes with the territory to have your ability questioned by some fans from time to time but your character week after week questioned, where's the self respect?

Problem is all teams around us have found form where as we are stuttering along like an old Mini Metro. I have zero confidence in us pulling this one off. It has pulled Blackburn right back into it, their last 2 games against Cov and Leicester could easily yield zero points and leave us just needing to win one of our last two, but whichever way you slice it it's out of our hands now and we've basically run out of games where we can still make it up further down the road, we're at the end of the road.

We are where we are on merit. The Cardiff game and yesterday's game were must wins and we took one point. Of course it is not over yet but we are looking very likely to go down now. Grim.

Our away form is dreadful and irrespective of what league we’re in next season we have to fix this.
Last minute defeats to Millwall and QPR, were the must not lose games and we lost both.

How many times this season do we have to say it, this bunch of players are bottless tossers, full stop. They didn't have a go until the last 15-20 minutes, it's a game we had to win ffs. I have a feeling West Brom will get a result up there next week but instead of going for Huddersfield,s throat they will sit back and let them take it to us ect ect

As much as Rowett has to take a hit on this there's not one of the managers this season that can have any confidence in saying they can make this lot perform away. Mowbray had an epic no show at Hillsborough.
I have long argued it's the manager in 99.99% of the case in regards to results but the evidence of gutless, weedy, pussy attitudes from this squad all season shows the blame is on them and them alone.
This lot will rank as our equal worst relegated squad with Fry's boys. That particular team went missing for months and only started performing when the obituaries were being read out. They won a lot of games in the run in but it was more because pressure was off.
I will always defend the first relegation to third tier squad because they were a bunch of kids at a practically bankrupt club. Money and support was available for this lot and Fry's lot and they let the fan base down!
A harsh lesson is about to be learned by the board because I can't see us winning at Huddy and in reality we can win both and still drop!

I think it's safe to say that whoever loses in the Huddersfield v Blues game is down - mathematically no but confidence & handling the pressure yes.
I wonder if the players still think they are too good to go down.....take a look at the fcuking table lads because that's just how good you are (not). 😡😡😡😡😡

I think Huddersfield are already down, even if they beat us I just can't see them getting any kind of result at Ipswch last day and even if they miraculously pulled off a draw there, 48 points won't save them, Plymouth have a far superior goal dfference and I'm utterly convinced Wednesday win on the last day at Sunderland so unless anyone thinks Hudderssfield go to Ipswich last day and win, they're as good as down.
What I'm trying to figure out is whether that helps us next week against them or not. On the one hand theey may be accepting of their fate, at least subconciously, and so not be at full throttle, on the other they may accept their fate and all the pressure is off them allowing them to put on a performnce, either way though it's still going to be down to us to perform, which is the obvious fly in the ointment.

I think it makes it easier for them after this weekend - they've got nothing to lose so might as well just go for it and hope results go for them elsewhere. Knowing our luck this season, Ipswich will lose their next two games, miss out on the automatic places and rest their entire first team for the last game of the season 🙁 One positive is that they can't sit back so will that be better for us? And what's the irony that both Blues and Eustace go down together but not together? Norwich game is a sell-out - I just hope we are still alive by the time the players walk out onto the pitch because the atmosphere isn't going to be the best if we arent 😬😬

Our boards refusal to engage in relegation topic is probably half the reason the players are doing what they doing.
It's like fingers in ears la la la la la attitude to the truth and no amount of lets talk positive will wash.

That was my reasoning before the rovrum game in saying it would be very different, but tbf I don't think most teams have sat back against us when they've been at home (why would they?) and we've still been mostly rubbish, that reasoning is probably based on the cov game in insolation more than anything else.

It is still so incredibly tight. I thought some had pulled away but it is still very much up for grabs. The table will constantly change and will very likely go down to the wire

If we are still in the drop zone after 45 games played, then you can forget about it. This bunch of gutless cowards doesn’t stand a chance against Norwich.
