Amartey was in the West Ham academy. He has been on trial with us since March. Can play wide and up front. Looks useful, good feet and fairly quick.
McGilp is ball playing midfielder. Good ball retention and a decent passer of the ball. Might be a little light weight though.
Lupano is a centre back we've taken from Solihull, I've heard good things but not seen him.
I don't know enough about the others, other than Ferrand is French and came through the Rennes academy.

I'm hearing good things about Amartey. Supposed to be a real goal poacher.

Will we get any money for developing Wes McDonald from Yeovil?

We didn't offer him a contract, so nothing there. Later down the line if he's sold on I think there's some rule that we would get 3% over a certain value, but it'll be pennies.

What's your logic on that then? Rather have a domestic keeper with experience then a kid younger than Trueman

You have also posted it on Pimos topic so I had a look to see if there was more info about him on here signing a 19yo keeper from a continent which isn't renouned for high quality keepers isn't a great idea. We need experience and quality if this is the club's way of thinking play Trueman as a No 1 for the rest of the season

Yes, I posted because I think Pimo may have thought we were bringing him in to compete for the first team, which we aren't. Beale needs a keeper for the u23s which is why they've trialled various younger keepers all summer. He's going into the u23s,not challenging for a first team spot, not sure what's so hard to understand about that.

But they can't play in the first team because of bloody ffp I don't think it's to do with FFP. I think it's more ti do with the 5 players thing that the EFL seem to have invented just for us.
