Despite losing the 1st leg of the Blades Cup game 2 v 4 to Manure, the U-16's had a fantastic night in Altrincham winning away 0 v 4 with goals from Amari Miller, Remi Walker, Ramello Mitchell and Jude Bellingham (Agg 6 v 4 to Blues). They progress into the final where they will play either Diverpool or Sheff Utd.
Bertie, is your no. 10 Ramello Mitchell?

Did you watch the game and did he score the third goal if so I will wat h it on blues tv. That is one hell of a good performance, although I thought they were a little unlucky to lose 4-2 but 4-0 is a hell of a turn round.

No, didn't go to the game but had some messages and I understand its on the BCAcademy twitter site. From your previous description I am pretty sure its not Miller, Walker or Bellingham so its just a deduction that it could be Mitchell. Having said that there is no real info about him on any of the Blues sites.

HI byg I have just seen a still picture Billingham and would make him favourite at the moment He certainly has the calibre of the player you watched, but I'm still not sure. He would have to be a fit young kid to play a full match on the Tuesday night followed by 90minutes on the Saturday, though he does seem to have plenty of energy and it fits with the academy website reports.

If they play a video of the match on TV blues I be able to get more info. It's become a bit of an obsession with me now

Blues U-23's went down to a disappointing 1 v 0 loss today away at Crewe. Blues dominated most of the match but just didn't take their chances and no doubt some of the problems stemmed from the disruption caused by the fielding of 5 of the 1st team squad, namely Harding, Mahonsy, Lubala, VSO and Trueman. Team was Trueman, Harding, Burke, Bajrami (Redmond ht) Martin, Mahoney, McGilp, Boyd-Munce (Hurst 86), Solomon-Otabor, Lubala, and McFarlane. www.bcfc.com/news/articles/2018/report-crewe-alexandra-under-23s-1-blues-under-23s-0-1/

That was poor if they fielded such a strong side Yep, complacency springs to mind. I get that such players need competitive game time which they are not getting from the bench in first team matches, but if they are just going to stroll around the park then that's unfair upon the players who have made way for them and who have done well so far this season.

Or maybe the lack of game time had an effect on them? Harding and a few others need some game time. Hopefully the minutes will help them perform vetter next time.

Byg back to the serious posts. I have watched u18 beat hull several time. Bellingham did not stand out except for a brilliant free kick but I do think he was the one that I thought was brilliant, maybe it because they are much older and its much tougher. Other players that stood out was Ryan Moore right back but only in an attacking sense. The other was Traore big strong centre forward looks very capable. Its a pity the camera work isn't better its difficult to pick the players out a lot of the time but keep up the good work bygsy

Still a bright prospect though and I see he scored on his England debut when he was 14.

But it is a very big step in the right direction and much better than most we have. Lets have a bit of positivity please not so much of the negativity

It's largely irrelevant for the club at the minute. Fair play to the kid, not trying to play down his achievements, but they mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.
