Playing back home is his preference. As someone said to me recently "He's dead to Blues, whoever wants him can have him"

Always knew he would struggle to stay. McFarlane is now 22 and still not a threat to the first team.

Both told they could find a move some time ago. Two slightly different situations. McFarlane's failure certainly hasn't been down to commitment and work ethic. If Ronan's head had been in the game With the same desire then I think it would've been a different story. Unfortunately it wasn't and he hasn't lived up to the early potential.

How many more ready to be dropped off so to speak?
At this rate we won't need any coaches!

Does the embargo affect our ability to recuit to the academy?

Does the embargo affect our ability to recuit to the academy? Not to recruit. They just can't play for the first team until it has been lifted. McGilp, Amartey and Luyambula in the same situation right now. Also we haven't been allowed to extend their contracts up to this point, but heard that may have changed over the last few days.

Heard that although Blues were going to bring Seddon back for first team contention. But for continued progression and regular football he may well be loaned out again. Scunthorpe is the name I've been told.

Well that's two of the more obvious ones gone, more to follow no doubt, but making meanngfful dents in losses will need for first team squad players joining the exodus.

He scored a wondergoal for Southend on his debut at 17 years from his own half.

Hopefully we will be able to sort out the embargo ASAP so we can start offering contracts out to others, like Morrison

The deals they wanted to offer them initially just to monitor over thr season anyway. So we got what we wanted in the end. Heard they're really impressed with Luyambula, so I expect he'll get something more concrete in the summer.

McFarlane on loan at Barrow made his debut in a defeat but was not in the squad for their next game, don't know if dropped or injured.
Gloucester played Hungerford recently where Luyumbula, Anderson and I think Josh Martin are on loan. Odin Bailey playing for Gloucester was twice denied by Luyumbula in the Hungerford goal who continues to impress.

Kyle McFarlane back at Blues because of poor timekeeping. He kept turning up late for training and Barrow cut his loan short. He needs to buck up his ideas or he'll end up another waster on the scrapheap.

What a prat. Beggars belief how many of these kids waste the opportunities given them.

Blues have criticised Barrow for not keeping the details in house and giving KM a public dressing down where a private word may have been sufficient. He will definitely go out on loan again with at least 4 clubs interested.

I honestly think if he'd stayed Clark would have blooded him. While we know LC was bonkers, being the youngest ever Blues player could have been a massive confidence boost to such a young player.

Yes agree left with pound signs in his eyes which quickly turned to tears. One of those bad moves people make in their lives that mess them up.

Seems like Wolves are the latest team to show an interest in 16 year old Romallo Mitchell with Man Utd and Liverpool already expressing an interest. From reports he is supposed to be rapid. I see it going the way of Nabay Fobay above. He would be better off staying at Blues.

I think a deal for Mitchell to Wolves is done. Tbh, it's a fuss about nothing. Not even sure he's that good.

Josh Martin has been told he can leave. On trial at Wigan.
There's at least another 7 players not on pro contracts that have been told they are being released too. I'll update when I can share.
