Richardson / Lopez are liars, or 2. Ricardian / Lopez are being lied to, or 3. There is something in it. I just can’t see why somebody would lie about buying the club ( especially when you will get found out) and it’s hard to see why BSHL would string possible buyers along if there is zero chance of selling. My thought is that BSHL will sell but only on their terms which are not particularly palatable but nevertheless means that discussions have being ongoing without getting anywhere. Prospective buyers are being strung along in the hope they can negotiate on the terms but BSHL will only compromise if they get desperate but may want some open communications in case they do. Spanish reports suggest that Lopez was in Valencia last week negotiating a purchase. If he was speaking to somebody then who? Which ex Blues CEO lives in Spain and could be used to keep the dialogue going with prospective purchasers so one is ready if they ever simply have to sell?They wouldn’t still be using him to keep these exit discussions going would they? Surely not- but conspiracy theories have been built on less. |

Somebody is telling these lot they have the authority to sell the club when they haven't. And they can get the dal done when they can't. All for a tidy fee, I'm sure.

Look at it from BSHL perspective.
A) If they sold BCFC lock stock today how long before HKSE say "well your company is worth diddly so the listing is under threat"
B) If they do not bring investment then they need to find £2m ish per month contractually to run the club for about 18 months. It is easy to see why they want investment as they want some patsy to take on the £2m per month
C) Selling Oriental Rainbow I assume means the buyer takes on (B) and this will mean BSHL no longer struggling. It's effectively like renting a shop nice fat lease fee and a wedge in rent coming in every month
For me the new investor if they ever do get this off the ground could be in for a rude awakening if they don't make the legal work absolute ironclad for buying the remaining percentage of Blues. If they get this wrong these lot will just stick around long after the 3 years.
Personally if I as the buyers I would rather buy Oriental Rainbow and around 30% of BSHL and make sure these amounts make up to an amount that requires 1% purchase for takeover (depending on regulations) then I would get a consortium together to start accumulating the require private stock, that way if these lot try to shaft them then you launch an aggressive takeover.
I would also say 3 years is far too long. 2 years max!

I am resigned to the club remaining as is at least for another season or the ballon goes up with the ownership similar to Carson Young before then. Still think that if cash flow if compromised it will be the most likely trigger for a regime change but that may not be for the better of course even if he does happen. I don’t want these two chancers or Southall anywhere near the club. The only extremely slim reason that I was prepared to even entertain the idea of Bassini was the prospect of David Sullivan being behind it. Wishful thinking I freely admit but what else do we have? |

I would imagine because Lopez isn't qualified, so more likely to be Technical Director and Richardson, although qualified by experience, has a business to run whereas Southall has an MBA. Eminently qualified. Can't see any problems with the EFL. |
